We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician for this injection molding company based near Connersville, IN. The Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing functionality and efficiency of injection molding machines and auxillary equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance on injection molding machines to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with injection molding equipment.
• Perform repairs and replacements of defective components, including sensors, actuators, heaters, and controllers.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement machine upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of molds, ensuring they are clean, properly lubricated, and in good working condition.
• Provide technical support during machine setup, changeovers, and tooling adjustments.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in injection molding equipment and maintenance practices.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy machinery components.
