Quality Inspector - PS3112520

Responsibilities:

• Checking incoming materials against specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable items.
• Approving the initial product inspection to ensure proper setup in the injection molding process and compliance with product specifications.
• Conducting inspections according to product specifications and recommended methods, including machine rounds and box/bag audits.
• Maintaining a safe work environment by following standards and regulations, including awareness of federal and international quality standards.
• Utilizing strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of injection mold design and functions, as well as basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, to make necessary adjustments.
• Providing feedback to supervisors on safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.
• Stamping approved product packages, confirming proper sealing and stacking on skids if needed.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and design drawings. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable transportations and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.  
• Must have at least 3 years of quality inspector experience, preferably relating to injection molding manufacturing. 
• Capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting 40 pounds, learning quickly, and having optimal hand-eye coordination. 
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Any certifications, college degrees, or specialized training (ASQ, CQI) is a PLUS.
