Production Operator - PS3112527
Pay: $40000 - 75000/year + benefits & paid holidays

We are assisting an injection molding company near The Villages, FL region that is searching for an experienced plastic injection molding technician to assist with manufacturing operations. Responsibilities:
- Performing mold changes, setting up, monitoring, and adjusting manufacturing machinery or equipment while adhering to safety requirements and work standards to produce quality parts within standard cycle times.
- Conducting molding repairs and equipment adjustments throughout shifts as necessary, maintaining up-to-date records of changes made during setup or process adjustments.
- Collaborating with process engineers to sample new tooling, troubleshoot, and diagnose process issues.
- Operating a variety of molding machines, ensuring safe operations and producing quality parts within standard cycle times for production approval.
- Utilizing strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of injection mold design and functions, as well as basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, to make necessary adjustments.
- Operating forklift, changing molds, and setting up machines for production.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of injection mold functions & manufacturing operations REQUIRED
- Prior experience with IQMS or other ERP systems is a PLUS
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail and ability to climb and crawl to make adjustments.
