Process Engineer - PS3112515
Pay: $60,000 – 80,000/yea + benefits & paid holidays
Industry: Plastic injection molding
Location: Near Hartford, CT
Schedule: Full-time / First Shift
We are now searching for a motivated Process Engineer to lead a plastic injection molding company's continuous improvement efforts. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to apply Lean principles and drive impactful changes across all operations.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing continuous improvement projects, setting goals, establishing priorities, and coordinating resources to drive a successful project outcome
- Utilizing Lean techniques to analyze process flows, value stream layouts, productivity, and recommend enhancements to optimize workflow.
- Enhancing manufacturing efficiencies by understanding process and equipment limitations and implementing appropriate improvements.
- Assist in resolving issues with existing tooling and secondary downstream equipment. Prior electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting experience is a PLUS.
Qualifications
- Prior technical Plastic Injection Molding experience REQUIRED.
- Effective project management abilities, including goal setting, resource management, and project coordination.
- Clear communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
- Preferred proficiency in CAD or similar engineering software is a plus.
