Job Description
Lead Process Technician (FL) - CR337 - Injection Molding
Location: Tampa, FL
Compensation: $20 - 30/hr.
Compensation: $20 - 30/hr.
We are seeking highly skilled Injection Molding technicians, open to 2nd or 3rd shift and LOCAL to the Tampa region of Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Set up specific molds according to provided instructions and place them at the press for reference.
- Documentation of results in terms of cost, production methods, quality, and quantity of output.
- Coordinate with the scheduling department to meet on-time delivery goals.
- Plan, assign, and delegate work to appropriate personnel based on their skill sets.
- Monitor materials, machine/equipment conditions, and labor levels to prevent production delays.
- Maintain discipline, employee morale, and positive personnel relations while addressing any employee complaints.
- Identify training needs and monitor employee development.
- Ensure effective communication between different departments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining injection molding machines
- Familiarity with mold setup and processing parameters
- Understanding of safety regulations related to injection molding operations
- Supervision of technicians in manufacturing environment is a PLUS
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
