Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to optimize injection molding processes to improve product quality, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap rates.
• Set up injection molding machines and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Train and mentor injection molding operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that arise.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required. A technical degree or certification in injection molding technology is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in injection molding processes, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment, materials, and processes.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands & fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
