Job Description
Process Engineer - JPC67
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in extrusion processes, equipment design, and process improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities:

Design, install, and start up equipment associated with various capital projects within the extrusion areas.

Provide modifications and troubleshoot equipment-related problems to improve overall safety, quality, and productivity.

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Analyze production data and recommend optimizations for better performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an extrusion environment.

Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial) from a recognized university.

Eligibility for registration with APEGM.

Knowledge of Lean Principles, including 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, set-up reduction, and various other process improvement methodologies.

Experience with film converting operations, including printing, laminating, and slitting.

Areas of strength: Digital electronic systems, controls, and robotics.
