Location: Near Southern Kansas City, MO
Pay: $18 - 35/hr + Benefits

We have another plastic molding company near the southern region of Kansas City, MO that is in need of experienced hands-on Blow Molding Technicians. We are open to interviewing local or relocating candidates. The primary responsibility of the Blow Molding Technician is to oversee blow molding processes, which involves driving production output, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, ensuring the production of products aligns with customer specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production lines to manufacture custom blow molded products.
- Facilitate the start-up and cycling in of new jobs.
- Safely operate machines and production equipment, following prescribed instructions.
- Promptly respond to machine alarms to minimize downtime and efficiently execute preventative maintenance.
- Report any molds and machines in need of maintenance.
- Conduct minor maintenance functions on machines and auxiliary equipment as required.
- Collaborate with management to establish and achieve production output targets.
- Ensure all production equipment consistently produces quality products.
- Provide technical process knowledge to support the new product development team.
- Willingness to assume a leadership role within a small team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of at least 3 years of Blow molding and/or Extrusion experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Prior knowledge of extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, two-stage molding, reheat & blow is required.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints & schematics, communicate effectively, and work independently as well as in a team.
- Must ahve earned a Highschool Diploma, GED, or similar educational certificate.
- Must have reliable transportation, capable of lifting 40lbs., and standing for long periods of time.
