Process Technician - PS3112511
Pay: $30,000 - 65,000/yr + benefits & paid holidays
Industry: Plastic injection molding
Location: Near Birmingham, MI
Schedule: Full-time
We are searching for experienced Process Technicians near the central Detroit, MI region who have injection molding experience. Due to the increase in projects, we have a local company urgently hiring. Whether you have only 2 years of injection molding manufacturing experience or more, we would love to get any interested candidates confidentially connected for an interview.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and the quality of manufactured parts.
- Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.’s, scrap reports and quality requirements.
- Demonstrate strengths utilizing materials such as PVC, ABS, ASA, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PC, and more to manufacture plastic products.
- Troubleshoot issues on injection molding machines, robots and execute preventative maintenance as required
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ plastic injection molding experience REQUIRED
- Some knowledge operating Engel, Milacron, Battenfeld, UBE and HPM’s, or similar molding equipment
- Critical problem-solving skills, an organized mindset, being detail oriented, and a team player with a sense of urgency.
- 5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred
