We are seeking an experienced individual to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical background, project management skills, and the ability to lead small teams. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform periodic maintenance on machinery, including synchronous belts, v-belts, sheaves, roller chains, conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, pumps, extruders, and more.
• Lead small teams and challenging projects, mentoring and supervising Tech I or II staff as needed.
• Safely diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, identifying the root cause and making necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot control loops and various systems, and align equipment such as motors, gearboxes, couplings, and pulleys.
• Perform maintenance on overhead cranes, mobile equipment, forklifts, tugs, and small vehicles.
• Provide recommendations to the Maintenance Manager for procedural or equipment changes to prevent future issues.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of relevant education courses or certifications in welding, electrician, or crane/rigging.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with overhead cranes (1-10 tons), mobile equipment, and various industrial machinery.
• Ability to perform calculations for mechanical fabrication and electrical diagnostics, including knowledge of Ohm’s law.
• Preferred: Welding or electrical certification.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
