Job Description
Mold Setter - PS3112539
Pay: $18 - 25/hr + benefits & paid holidays
Industry: Plastic injection molding
Location: Near Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Full-time / 3rd shift (3 - 11:30pm)
The Mold Setter is responsible for setting up and overseeing mold operations and plastic part processing to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up molds and auxiliary equipment for new production runs according to instructions.
- Adjust processes as needed to address quality assurance concerns.
- Perform job changeovers efficiently.
- Notify Quality Control promptly upon press start-up.
- Assist in equipment start-up and shutdown.
- Investigate and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct regular equipment and process scans.
- Monitor and maintain production flow.
- Utilize IQMS system for data recording and retrieval.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Document production data and process changes.
- Collaborate with team to improve work processes and communication.
- Perform material tests and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A professional engineering degree or vocational training is preferred.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical documents, write routine reports, perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must have at least 1 year of injection mold set-up experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands & fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 60 pounds.
