We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Device Sales Engineer with experience in selling to the medical device market. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent sales abilities, and the drive to generate new business while managing customer relationships and supporting the entire sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and achieve sales plans by generating new leads and following up on customer inquiries.
• Manage the complete sales process, including initiating phone contacts, visiting customers, project discussions, feasibility determination, application development, and closing orders.
• Provide after-sales support and participate in trade shows to promote medical device products.
• Periodically report sales numbers and customer activity using CRM tools effectively.
• Travel within North America, with up to 50% overnight travel, to support sales activities and customer visits.
• Prospect for new business and focus on generating new opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations and conduct technical seminars to customers.

Qualifications:

• MUST have experience selling to the medical device market.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, particularly in the capital equipment market.
• MUST have a BS in an engineering-related field (preferred).
• Strong technical sales skills with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Knowledge of plastic materials, familiarity with injection molding, and mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
• Ability to give technical presentations and conduct seminars for potential and current customers.
