Process Technician - PS311253
Pay: $15 - 30/hr + benefits & paid holidays
Industry: Plastic injection molding
Schedule: Full-time / 2nd shift
We are searching for experienced Extrusion Process Technicians for multiple companies throughout the Milwaukee, WI region. Tech will perform production activities by operating an extruder, following a production schedule, make sure all supplies needed for production runs are available and operate the extruder generally unassisted.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects machines/ equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimize workflow
- Ensure acceptable quality via orientation tests, melt index tests, & color tests as needed
- Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work place in compliance with all regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required
- Complete daily reports and other production documentation
- Adjust roll temperature and speeds as per product specifications.
- Calibrate blending equipment to achieve the proper blend of material components.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' Extrusion manufacturing experience is REQUIRED.
- Any experience troubleshooting and/or developing extrusion molding processes is a PLUS.
- Able to lift 50lb while also standing for extended periods of time
