Pay: $40000 - 90000/year + benefits & paid holidays

Location: Near Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Full-time / 1st shift
We are assisting an injection molding company near the Phoenix, AZ region that is searching for experienced plastic injection molding technicians to assist with manufacturing operations. This role is available to operators as well as those with leadership experience in a plastic manufacturing setting. Responsibilities:
- Performing mold changes, setting up, monitoring, and adjusting manufacturing machinery or equipment while adhering to safety requirements and work standards to produce quality parts within optimal cycle times.
- Work alongside manufacturing team to conduct molding repairs/changes and equipment adjustments throughout shifts as necessary, maintaining up-to-date records of changes made during setup or process adjustments.
- Collaborating with process engineers to sample new tooling, troubleshoot processes, and diagnose production issues.
- Operating a variety of injection molding machines and presses while adhering to safety regulations.
- Utilizing strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of injection mold design and functions, as well as basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, to make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of injection mold functions & manufacturing operations REQUIRED.
- Prior experience with IQMS or other ERP systems is a PLUS.
- Previous leadership experience in an injection molding manufacturing setting is a PLUS.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and/or electrical schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to stand for long periods of time.
