Job Description
Lead Extruder - JPC17
Pay: $15 - 30/hr + Benefits
Industry: Plastic
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in plastic extrusion and flexible packaging products. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in plastic extrusion, the ability to oversee multiple extrusion lines, and ensure product quality both on the line and in the lab. Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee multiple extrusion lines.
- Perform quality checks on finished products both on the line and in the lab.
- Keep the Extrusion Department and equipment clean.
- Perform scheduled/preventative maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with extrusion equipment when necessary.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented, understood, and followed.
- Work 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years of experience in plastic extrusion and flexible packaging products.
- Experience with Windmoeller & Hoelscher equipment is a plus.
- Ability to oversee multiple extrusion lines and perform quality checks.
- Must be able to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and stand for long periods of time.
