Plant Manager - JPC38

We are seeking a highly experienced operations manager with extensive knowledge of the blow film industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, particularly in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, and proven experience managing operations, engineering, and maintenance teams within the plastic blown film extrusion industry. This role requires a hands-on manager who is skilled in project management and is capable of leading major facility improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and coordination of production to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of finished goods.
• Develop and implement plans, schedules, and standard operating procedures to optimize resource usage and operational efficiency.
• Accountable for production costs, product quality, plant safety, and inventory control.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely production and budget reports.
• Manage several major facility improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
• Lead the implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance best practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have 15+ years of experience in the blow film industry.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Must have 10+ years of experience managing operations, engineering, or maintenance departments in the plastic blown film extrusion industry.
• Strong background in project management.
• Must be a hands-on manager with excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices.
