Job Description
Digital Press Operator - JPC109
Pay: $60,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits
Industry: Plastic
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator with expertise in operating HP Indigo presses in a plastic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, strong quality control skills, and the ability to perform technical adjustments and maintenance. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for print production processes, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical aptitude and skills to perform running jobs as an HP Indigo Operator.
- Perform quality control.
- Perform technical adjustment and maintenance of the digital press.
- Prepare files given to them by the Pre-Press department through the DFE.
- Vet print files and job tickets, correcting them as needed with front office personnel before printing.
- Have a predisposition for all print production processes, specialty finishing techniques, and print substrates.
Qualifications
- Experience with digital file management systems and graphic file creative software.
- Understanding the basic concept of prepress.
- Experience in operating mechanical/electromechanical equipment.
- Prior basic computer experience/aptitude.
- Knowledge of color theory and practice.
- HP Indigo Operator experience is a plus.
