Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the resin and masterbatch sectors.
• Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s customer base.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to address their specific requirements.
• Develop and utilize a deep understanding of resin and masterbatch products, including their applications, benefits, and competitive advantages. Effectively communicate this knowledge to clients.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies. Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this information to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
• Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market intelligence. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

Qualifications

• MUST have at least 3 years of experience selling plastic additives, resins, masterbatches and/or manufacturing solutions; preferably in the plastic manufacturing market. 
• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the resin, masterbatch, or related manufacturing industries. Experience in B2B sales is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of resin and masterbatch products, including their applications and market dynamics. Familiarity with the manufacturing process is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Must be open to travel and based in the province of Ontario.
