Job Description
Lead Plastic Injection Molder - PSCR4925
Pay: $65,000 - 110,000/ year + Benefits
Industry: Plastic Injection molding
Schedule: Monday - Friday / First Shift // O.T Available
We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molder to lead a team in the production of high-quality plastic injection molded products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection molding, troubleshooting, and team leadership, ensuring smooth operations and a safe work environment. This role requires a hands-on supervisor who can train and mentor staff while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Independently set up and remove plastic injection molds.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on molding machines and molds.
- Monitor and ensure optimal machine processes, conducting regular quality checks.
- Assist the maintenance team when troubleshooting issues with mold systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or automation.
- Ensure molding machines run efficiently to meet production targets.
- Operate forklifts as needed (a plus).
- Train and supervise production team members on injection molding operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in setting up, processing, and troubleshooting plastic injection molds.
- MUST have proven hands-on experience operating injection molds.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
