Pay: $40,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead and implement plans for continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, especially within extrusion, and experience in managing teams in a unionized environment. Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to implement continuous improvement plans focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage and supervise manufacturing teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
• Address conflict resolution and discipline issues in a unionized environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and contribute to the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other improvement methodologies.
• Use organizational and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• College or University education in a related technical field.
• 3+ years of management/supervisory experience in manufacturing, in addition to 5 years in extrusion.
• 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a unionized environment, with a strong understanding of conflict resolution and handling discipline situations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency in PC-based programs such as Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with experience in continuous improvement methodologies, KPIs, and SOPs.
