• Organize and schedule mold maintenance activities.
• Use measuring tools to inspect and clean equipment before, during, and after molding operations.
• Adjust equipment settings to ensure quality production.
• Troubleshoot and repair molds and tools as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to create new fixtures and machine parts.
• Utilize CAD software for design purposes.
• Manage CNC mill programs and implementing daily improvements.
• Build new molds and tools based on specifications.
• Inspect completed tools for any defects.
• Maintain inspection and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technicians daily.
• Attend production meetings and contribute to planning processes.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of prior mold or tooling design experience is a PLUS. 
• MUST have at least 3 years of prior experience constructing/manufacturing molds or tooling. 
• CNC programming or operation experience is a PLUS.
• MasterCAM / SolidWorks experience is a PLUS.
• Must have access to own handheld tools.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, and effective time management and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and company success.
• Extensive knowledge with measuring equipment
• Bi-lingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. of force, and/or consistently lift up to 20 lbs.of force to move objects.
