Job Description
Process Technician - JPC46
Compensation: $22 - $55/hour + benefits
Industry: Plastic Injection Molding
Location: California
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd shift available
Responsibilities:
-
Optimize injection molding for enhanced product quality and faster cycle times.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold setting, machinery, and injection molding operations.
- Conduct investigations into defects and implement corrective measures.

Mentor and train production staff (process technicians, mold setters, material handlers) for improved performance.

Partner with engineering and production to drive continuous process and system improvements.

Maintain precise documentation of all molding processes and modifications.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 5 years of hands on processing experience and at least 3 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to conduct defect investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in developing process parameters for new molds and ensuring production consistency.
- Experience in documenting processes and maintaining detailed records.
- RJG Master Molder I certification or equivalent scientific molding expertise
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to improve processes and systems.
