Job Description
Injection Molding Technician - JPC118
Pay: $15 - 30/hr + Benefits
Industry: Plastic
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician with a strong understanding of injection molding and plastics processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in mold setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring product quality. If you have a deep knowledge of injection molding systems, a strong work ethic, and a passion for working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Setup two-plate and three-plate molds, and necessary auxiliary equipment.
- Optimize process settings at setup for the production of acceptable parts.
- Ensure product is in accordance with established quality guidelines.
- Maintain material control and levels at designated machines.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on designated machines.
- Assist in maintaining mold catalog database.
- Troubleshoot and debug new molds.
- Diagnose molding issues.
- Keep track of and communicate necessary information about molding status to the next shift Mold Technician through written log and verbal feedback.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
- Capable of setup, debug, and processing of production molds with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with engineering plastics.
- Working knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with blueprint interpretation.
