We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join an established manufacturer specializing in extrusion blow molding. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in extrusion blow molding operations, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of optimizing production processes for maximum efficiency. As the Extrusion Blow Molding Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production team, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement within the production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the extrusion blow molding production team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Continuously assess and enhance extrusion blow molding processes to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize production output.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Provide training and mentorship to production staff, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and skill development.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper operation and upkeep of extrusion blow molding equipment, minimizing disruptions to production.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with other departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Enforce a safe working environment by conducting regular safety meetings, addressing safety concerns promptly, and upholding safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control documents, and employee performance records.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of extrusion blow molding experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
• A solid understanding of business principles and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to document and analyze downtime issues and implement corrective actions.
• A high school diploma, GED, or similar educational certification is required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
