We are seeking a Blow Molding Supervisor with a strong background in optimizing labor, materials, and assets for efficient production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing blow molding operations, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient and economical utilization of labor, materials, and assets in the blow molding department.
• Implement process improvement techniques to enhance overall quality and efficiency within the blow molding department.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct activities within the blow molding area to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee blow molding equipment and mold maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with Production Planning to develop and manage work schedules.
• Identify repair priorities based on the daily production schedule and ensure that all required equipment is operable.
• Provide technical knowledge and expertise to solve blow molding problems related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues.
• Adhere to strict quality guidelines established for the blow molding process, including weights, neck measurements, wall balance, and thickness.
• Monitor and maintain high-quality standards for all department functions.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of resins, colorants, and additives used in the blow molding process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in blow molding operations with a deep understanding of the blow molding process and machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to adhere to strict quality standards and continuously monitor performance for improvements.
• Strong knowledge of resins, colorants, and additives used in the blow molding industry.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with production teams and planning departments.
