Job Description
Sales Engineer - JPC190
Pay: $60,000 - 90,000/year + Benefits
Industry: Plastic
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Execute and achieve sales plans
- Responsible for the complete sales process including generating new leads, following up on customers inquiries, initiating phone contacts, visiting customers, project discussions and review, feasibility determination, application development management, closing orders, including trade show and after sales support
- Periodically report sales numbers by utilizing the CRM tools effectively
- Travel for customer visits as needed to support sales activities of products, with up to 50% overnight travel in the Midwest
- Perform customer seminars
Qualifications:
- Excellent technical sales skills with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales in the capital equipment market
- A BS in an engineering related field is preferred
- Independently manage daily activities within the sales territory
- Effectively prospect and focus on generating new Business
- An understanding of plastic materials, familiarity with injection molding, mechanical aptitude, and good communications skills are essential
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to give technical presentations and conduct technical seminars
