We are seeking a Process Engineer – Injection Molding to support manufacturing operations within a high-volume production environment. This role is responsible for optimizing injection molding processes, supporting automation systems, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering professional with strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a passion for process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot injection molding processes and related automation systems.

• Support daily manufacturing operations and improve overall production performance.

• Analyze process and production data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction.

• Lead root cause analysis activities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, tooling, quality, and engineering teams to support operational goals.

• Improve cycle times, process stability, equipment utilization, and product quality.

• Support preventive maintenance initiatives and equipment/process upgrades.

• Implement and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Maintain process documentation, production records, and operational reports.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or process engineering environments preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience working with manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and production processes.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

• Exposure to automation projects, tooling, and process validation activities.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, production reporting, and manufacturing data analysis.

• Experience improving OEE, cycle times, scrap reduction, and production efficiency metrics.
