Mold Setter - PS311257
Pay: $30,000-65,000/yr + benefits & paid holidays
Industry: Plastic injection molding
Location: Near Rocky Mount, NC
Schedule: Full-time
We are searching for an experienced technician capable of setting molds for this injection molding company near the Rocky Mount, NC region. The mold setter will report to the process engineering manager and attend first-shift operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up, start up, and change over production jobs on an injection molding machine consistent with process control capabilities.
- Use documented procedures for routine setup tasks and troubleshooting issues in the manufacturing process.
- Assisting in machine repairs and preventive maintenance for injection molding machines and assembly equipment.
- Monitor production to maintain accuracy & efficiency while reporting any accidents swiftly.
- Complying with all company policies, procedures, and system guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience setting molds, starting molding equipment, and/or shutting operations down - REQUIRED
- Some knowledge operating Engel, Milacron, Battenfeld, UBE and HPM’s, or similar molding equipment
- Critical problem-solving skills, an organized mindset, being detail-oriented, and being a team player with a sense of urgency.
- Any project or team management experience is a plus
