Schedule: Monday - Friday / 1st or 2nd shift available
We’re seeking an experienced and results‑driven Production Manager to join a stable and well‑established leader in plastic injection molding. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day production activities, ensuring schedules, output, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Supervise and develop production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and improve production workflows, reducing downtime and maximizing equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and OSHA standards.
- Resource Management: Oversee allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to meet production goals.
- Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and meet customer commitments.
- Track KPIs such as OEE, scrap rates, and on‑time delivery; prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and production systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex production schedules.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
