Blow Molding Process Technician - PR026526

Pay: $24 - 35/hr + Benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join a stable and well-established leader in the plastic blow molding and rigid packaging manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing blow molding equipment to ensure consistent production quality, efficiency, and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with blow molding processes, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of plastic materials, molds, and machine operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures

• Collaborate with Set-up Technicians to start up and cycle in new jobs, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal process settings

• Monitor machine performance, respond to alarms, and adjust process parameters to maintain quality and reduce scrap

• Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on molds, machinery, and support equipment

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, tooling, and process-related issues to ensure continuous production flow

• Manage material flow, including scrap and regrind handling, and support inventory accuracy

• Work closely with production teams to meet output goals and maintain product quality standards

• Provide input on process improvements and new product introductions

• Coordinate with tooling vendors and maintenance contractors as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certification preferred

• 3+ years of experience in blow molding or related plastic manufacturing processes

• Experience with extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, or stretch blow molding

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use precision measurement tools

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment

• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required
