We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in the plastic industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts, cultivating new business, mentoring teams, and overseeing product introductions and changes. This position requires excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, design, and material management, as well as proficiency in 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee individual account performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Cultivate new business and expand relationships with existing accounts.
• Mentor Account Managers and Customer Service personnel to drive performance and growth.
• Manage all aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI), including necessary design and material changes.
• Maintain and update ERP min/max levels as required to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Monitor pricing and keep quotations up to date to remain competitive.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of experience in account management within the plastic industry.
• Proficiency in using 3D modeling software for product design and modifications.
• Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge of MRP, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, geometric dimensions and tolerances, blueprint interpretation, tooling, raw materials, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
