Maintenance / Engineering Manager - JPC120
Pay: $40,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits
Industry: Plastic
Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations in a plastic extrusion packaging plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large plastic extrusion machines, electrical and mechanical systems, and industrial controls. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate both internal teams and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, train, supervise, and motivate employees in the maintenance department.
- Oversee maintenance operations for a plastic extrusion packaging plant.
- Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5+ years of experience running maintenance in a plastic extrusion packaging plant.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with controls and drives such as Siemens and Allen Bradley.
- Hands-on experience with large plastic extrusion machines.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
