Ink Technician/Ink Department Supervisor - JPC1711
Pay: $40,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday
We are seeking an experienced individual with expertise in ink color matching and formulating inks for printing on plastics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixing, preparation, and working with suppliers to ensure high-quality ink formulations for production. Responsibilities
- Formulate inks for printing on plastics, ensuring accurate color matching and meeting job specifications.
- Work closely with suppliers to source and procure necessary materials.
- Mix and prepare inks for production, adhering to quality standards.
- Examine job orders to determine quantities, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions.
- Verify that inks meet the specifications for a given job before production.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, ordering or requesting additional supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years of experience in ink color matching and ink formulation for printing on plastics.
- Experience working with suppliers to source materials.
- Knowledge of ink mixing, preparation, and color matching techniques.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure specifications are met.
- Ability to monitor and manage inventory levels effectively.
