Process Engineer (Injection Molding) - PS32625
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 - 110,000/year + Benefits
Schedule: Monday - Friday / First shift / O.T available
We are seeking a skilled, hand-on Injection Molding Process Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and drive efficiency. You will troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth production and support new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor product quality to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide on-the-floor support to production teams, troubleshooting injection molding issues and assisting with process adjustments as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot process problems, determining root causes and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support new product introductions.
- Implement and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
- Support the technical development of new products, establishing optimal process parameters.
- Communicate with sales and manufacturing teams to facilitate new product introductions.
- Maintain ISO procedural documentation and resolve any related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Plastics Engineering is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience within a background operating injection molding machines hands-on.
- Strong background and knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of ISO methodologies and standards.
- Master Molder certification is a PLUS.
