We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to manage mold changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting of technical problems within the injection molding process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in machine setup, mold maintenance, and quality control, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Responsible for mold changes and machine adjustments.
• Conduct minor repairs and change inserts.
• Take primary responsibility for monitoring and controlling the assigned process.
• Seek solutions for technical problems related to assigned processes.
• Interface between Methods, Tooling, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Quality Control for assigned processes.
• Verify tooling, instructions, and materials prior to use on assigned processes.
• Set up and tear down molds from machines.
• Load processes into machines, start up, and shut down machines as needed.
• Operate machine and inspect parts per customer requirements, trim parts as needed, and package them accordingly.
• Operate secondary equipment such as ultrasonic welders and CNC machines.
• Maintain knowledge of plastic processing and injection molds to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of previous plastic injection molding experience and/or training preferred.
• 2 or more years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with machines.
• Experience with large tonnage plastic injection molding machines.
• Material handling knowledge and a strong motivation to learn.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Knowledge of robotic operations and setup.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across various departments.
